A commemorative embroidery project from Voluntary Arts England and Up For Crafts.
To mark the centenary of WWI Voluntary Arts England in partnership with BBC Radio Merseyside are launching a memorial embroidery project. Using beautifully embroidered silk postcards sent during WWI as inspiration to create an exhibition.
People can go along to drop in sessions and learn how to make these postcards themselves. All materials are provided free of charge.
