A Liverpool Officer- John Evans Lloyd

A Liverpool Officer- John Evans Lloyd

A local gentleman with a 9th Kings History

I am still putting this history together and any further facts would be of assistance
John Lloyd was born on Merseyside, sent to work in an office after school and worked his way up to become a cotton broker. He joined the territorial army before the war and served at the front for two years. Records at the moment do not show if he was posted or invalided out. He continued in the TA and became the Lord Lt of Anglesey for two years. He was killed in the 2ndWW at Bidston in 1941.
